Is Anyone Listening?

Don Chuck.jpg

Before the 2006 season began I offered my preseason analysis to anyone who would listen, which including my dog, totaled three sets of ears.  Coming off of the miserable 2005 season with so much left to question, I felt that the birds need only reestablish themselves as a playoff team and that 2006 was NOT a season in which we would make a run for the Super Bowl.  Simply put, give me 10-6 and a playoff appearance and I'll walk away satisfied and confident that 2005 was just an aberration.
So looking back on 2006, seeing how the season unfolded, where we ended up and how I felt when it was all over, my preseason analysis was dead on.  Damn I'm good.
However, trying to stake claim to a prediction like that AFTER the season is over is like saying that you knew to pull all of your money out of the stock market before the Internet bubble burst - even if its the truth, no one wants to hear it.
But this year is different, this year I'm putting all of my predictions, thoughts, analysis, rants, etc., for all the world to see on 4thand26.com.  That is, assuming, anyone in the world (other than my brothers...and dog) is interested in anything that I have to say.  All of that being said, saving all the details for future posts, I can say with confidence that 2007 is indeed a Super Bowl season, no holds barred.  How much is a flight to Arizona anyway?
